HYROX Training in St Helens

HYROX training in St Helens at Sanctus Gym combines running, functional fitness, strength endurance and race-style conditioning. Sessions are designed for people who want to prepare for HYROX events, improve their engine or train with a clear performance target.
Every session is coached, structured and scalable, so beginners can build confidence while experienced athletes can push pace, standards and race execution.
What HYROX training includes
HYROX rewards repeatable movement, pacing and resilience. Our training develops the skills and fitness needed to handle running under fatigue, sled work, carries, wall balls, rowing, skiing and mixed conditioning pieces.
- Race-style workouts and HYROX simulation sessions.
- Running intervals, pacing strategy and compromised running practice.
- Functional strength work for sleds, lunges, carries and wall balls.
- Conditioning sessions that build aerobic capacity and work rate.
- Coaching on standards, transitions and efficient movement.
Who it is for
You do not need to be race-ready to start. HYROX classes can be scaled for newer members and progressed for athletes preparing for singles, doubles or relay events. The aim is to help you train hard while moving well and understanding the demands of the race format.
If you also want strength, skill and mixed-modal training, explore our CrossFit classes. For flexible access around your race prep, view our gym memberships or browse the full class timetable.
HYROX simulations and events
Sanctus also runs HYROX simulation days and in-house events, giving members the chance to test their pacing and movement standards in a race-style environment before competition day.
